Code of Conduct
At Pioneers Baccalaureate School, we believe that a strong partnership between students, parents, and staff is essential for creating a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Our Code of Conduct outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and standards of behavior that guide our school community.
I. Student Code of Conduct​
1. Respect and Behavior

Treat all peers, teachers, staff, and visitors with respect and courtesy.

Use appropriate language at all times; bullying, harassment, and discrimination are strictly prohibited.

Listen actively during lessons and follow classroom expectations.
-
Violence towards students or staff is not acceptable under any circumstances, this includes but is not limited to tripping, pushing, slapping, hitting, grabbing, choking, biting..etc.
2. Attendance & Punctuality
-
Arrive to school and classes on time.
-
Provide valid documentation for absences and make up missed work promptly.
3. Academic Integrity
-
Complete all assignments honestly and independently unless collaboration is permitted.

Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty will result in disciplinary action.
4. Responsible Use of Technology
-
This policy outlines the rules regarding cell phone use during school hours and the procedures for confiscation in the event of policy violations.
Policy Statement

Cell phones must be turned off and stored away during school hours to minimize distractions and enhance academic focus. Unauthorized use of cell phones during school hours is strictly prohibited.

Teachers should never allow students to use their cellphones in class under any circumstances. For classes requiring internet access, teachers are expected to use the computer lab or school-provided laptops.

Do not take photos, videos, or recordings of teachers or students without permission.

Follow the school’s digital safety protocols.
5. School Property & Environment

Respect school property, materials, books, and equipment.

Keep classrooms, hallways, and common areas clean and organized.

Report any damage immediately.
6. Safety & Well-Being
-
Follow safety procedures at all times, including emergency drills.

Physical aggression or dangerous behavior is not allowed.

Inform a trusted adult if you feel unsafe or notice unsafe behavior.
7. Uniform & Appearance
-
Follow the school’s uniform policy and maintain a neat appearance.
-
PE uniform should be worn only on designated days.
8. Participation & Responsibility
-
Take responsibility for learning and engage in class activities.
-
Bring necessary materials to class every day.
-
Represent the school positively during trips, events, and activities.

II. Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct​
1. Partnership with the School

Maintain open, respectful, and professional communication with teachers and staff.

Support the school’s academic expectations and reinforce positive behavior at home.
-
Attend meetings, conferences, and parent workshops when possible.
2. Respectful Communication
-
Speak respectfully to all staff and refrain from aggressive or confrontational behavior.

Address concerns through the proper channels ( Teacher, Coordinator, Dean, Principal)

Medical concerns go through the Nurse
-
Psychological Concerns go through the Counselor

3. Attendance & Academic Support​
-
Ensure that your child attends school regularly and arrives on time.

Review homework, assignments, and communication from the school.
-
Encourage academic honesty and responsibility.
4. Safety & Well-Being​
-
Update the school with accurate contact information.
-
Inform the school of any medical, emotional, or academic concerns affecting your child.

Follow school procedures during drop-off, pick-up, and emergencies.

5. Respect for School Policies​

Adhere to the school’s regulations regarding communication, uniform, technology use, and behavior.

Avoid interfering with classroom instruction or entering restricted areas without permission.
6. Digital Conduct​
-
Use school communication channels (email, school platforms) appropriately and respectfully.
-
Do not post photos, videos, or information about students, teachers, or school events on social media without permission.
